About Me

My passion for photography began with a college photography class. That changed my life's direction. I moved to the Twin Cities after graduation and began shooting for one of the area's largest commercial studios. I soon opened my own studio. After shooting commercial, advertising and editorial photography for years, I stumbled on the amazing and inspiring work of some world-renowned Australian wedding photographers. That led to another major life transition. Now my work focuses on weddings, family portraits, seniors and any opportunity to shoot people in a way that expresses who they are, not just how they look. My goal is to create the best images possible while helping my subjects relax and express themselves. The result is beautiful, genuine photography that my clients will treasure for generations.
